Imagine not having to use Post-It notes or Poster Paper to complete small group work. Imagine all the trees saved by being able to utilize a reusable group work surface. Imagine all the colors of the rainbow being used to critically analyze vocabulary, main ideas, or themes! This is my goal for incorporating these white board tables into my ELL classroom: to give them a creative work space environment that will engage them and take away the fear of having to write on the board, while simultaneously injecting a way of collaborating that no other classroom uses and makes the students WANT to write down their thoughts about the text or discussion!
