Many of my students cannot afford to buy books of their own and our school library has a limited supply. It is also difficult for some of the students to access the public library. These books will enable the students to each have their own copy to use for the duration of the project. These biographies will allow students to easily access the information they need to complete a two month research project. These books are engaging and match the students' current reading levels. They will have the opportunity to read, take notes, create a timeline, and develop their presentation with these biographies.
