Having this project funded will help my class to have additional stations in all subject that I teach each day. My 4th graders are all in high school style desks (arm rest, basket underneath, etc.) which makes it extremely difficult to move around the room. If I want to pull groups the whole desk must come as we do not have additional chairs to move around.
This table will enable me to work with struggling readers, writers, and math students in a small group setting. It will also allow for instructional one on one time and tutoring with high and low students.
