In our low income/high poverty school district, the students face countless challenges at home and at school. Despite these challenges, I believe my students deserve the same opportunities as other students have to have school supplies, engage in hands-on learning activities, and receive rewards for positive behavior. You have the opportunity to impact the lives of these students who come from low-income, trauma-filled lives by providing the opportunity for them to have necessary school supplies, earn rewards for positive behavior choices, and engage in community-based learning experiences.
