I love giving my students time to read for enjoyment in my classroom. I have worked hard my whole teaching career to make reading fun and enjoyable for my students. I love hearing about how they now love to read for fun or that they chose to read in their free time. My students gain many experiences through books as they are located in a place where there isn't much diversity or they come from families that can not afford to travel. These books will help my students travel to places they have never been, see life through another's eyes, and grow empathy for a situation they have never been apart of. With this variety of books, my students' lives will be enhanced and will help them continue to grow a love of independent reading.

About my class
