Everything important that I learned, I learned in kindergarten. I learned to share, take turns, and put things back. An everyday bookshelf can teach these character traits and more.
We would love to have a storage area for our learning tools that students can access as needed. Imagine students retrieving items and then putting them back when done. It’s a beautiful sight.
These shelves are smaller and will help make the classroom more wheelchair accessible as well. My students will be able to move a wheelchair around because the path will be wider. Mobility for all students will be greatly improved with more space.
Let’s add empathy and gratitude to that character traits list!
