I want my students to be excited to walk through the doors each morning. Creating a culture of learners that support and encourage each other while learning the content standards through rigorous, engaging activities is the goal for my classroom. Attending this conference would provide me with the opportunity to discover new strategies to engage students, learn how to increase the rigor of instruction, and build excitement for learning. I want to be the "Wild Card" in the lives of all students who enter my classroom.
I will leave feeling empowered, motivated, and inspired to create engaging lessons that will challenge my students and leave them eager for learning. I will use the knowledge of other professional educators at the conference to become more effective in the classroom by creating rigor and excitement. My students and I all have so many great things to gain from this conference!
