I really want my students to feel invited and comfortable in their second home and have then appreciate where they come from and their diverse backgrounds.
I want to have the resources they need to support their learning and feel appreciated. This is why I have included books about diversity and multicultural appreciation. I also included colorful, welcoming decorations to lighten up the classroom and be comfortable and engaging for the students. I also have headphones included for technology.
I believe these items and books will help support them in feeling great and appreciate themselves and their culture.
