These basketballs will give ALL students who want a chance to play basketball have that chance to play. With such few balls available, many of the smaller and younger kids never get a chance to play. These basketballs will also show my students that kids can solve problems. We have discussed this problem many times in class and the students worked very hard to come up with their own solutions. One student suggested we have a class garage sale. One suggested we have a bake sale. One student suggested I write a grant asking for help purchasing basketballs and I told them I would.
