Our classroom is currently made-up of second hand toys, borrowed furniture, and very little educational material. Our current sorting box doesn't have the pieces to go with it. The new sorting box will be used to help them learn colors, so we can then teach the signs for their colors. The large pencils and jumbo crayons are needed due to their difficulties with fine motor skills. I purchased and/or printed from the internet the only educational material we have. The sign language books will be used to increase their vocabulary in order to communicate. Some of the requested items are to help with calming and self-stimulating behaviors.
