Many ceramics programs have clay pug mills, and to be honest, we are jealous. A pug mill would allow my students to quickly, and effectively reuse clay in every ceramics class, at all levels, for years to come.
By donating to our project, you will help put clay back into the hands of students quicker and make recycling fun! The process of recycling clay by hand is a tedious week long process, extremely messy, and physically demanding. We would like to use our valuable class time to focus on CREATING as much as possible.
Every ceramics student (that's a minimum of 175 per year) will use this machine for many years to come.
