Although our school will be virtual for some time, the resources will be used for both. I teach in a very rural area, where there is very little access to internet and the families are very poor. The paper will allow me to make home visits to deliver packets to kids without devices. I have the pleasure of teaching every student in our school and it is imperative that I stay organized with file folders and labels. It is my goal to decorate the walls of the classroom so the kids have a sense of normalcy during virtual lessons. I usually spend about $200 per school year to make sure that my students have the things that they need in order to come to class and try and do well...paper, pencils and even food. This pandemic is very hard for teachers, students, and their families. Even the earbuds will help facilitate learning- imagine trying to listen to Zoom meetings with several other Zoom meetings happening right beside you. Help me help the students overcome obstacles they cannot control, and help me help the students strive to succeed.
