Nearly all students come from low-income households. Students come to school without many of their basic needs being met, much less extra school supplies. I work with students with various ability levels who have a difficult time just having their basic needs met. My wish is to improve their classroom experience, and eliminate any additional worry of not having what they need.
The goal of my project is to simply fill the gap and improve my students learning experience. Our classroom needs basic supplies such as a pencil sharpener, colored pencils for color coding maps, dry erase sleeves to save on paper, classroom resources and a lamp to help my students see during notes.
