We are studying patterns in our class. Patterns are everywhere. Students learn best with a variety of instructional methods. Playing bells would address their auditory and visual senses. Many children learn best through kinesthetic means as well and working as a team to make music is a way to achieve this. Students will learn and perform a variety of songs to improve their understanding of math patterns. This will not only aid their math abilities, but help them succeed as a team. Finding enjoyable methods to reach all my students, even the underachievers, is crucial. They will perform for our school on the morning video announcements and at PTA meetings.
