Students in our room come together away from electronics and toys to share in the joys and accomplishments during our morning meetings. Students sit on the rug and go through our calendar, story time, weekly lessons and have "brain breaks."
The carpet is our time to come together and share as a class family. This rug would be the heart of our classroom. This rug will allow students their own spots in our room and place to feel at home. Being pre-school students our kids need a visual picture on the carpet to know where they should sit. Our current carpet does not have this and is very old. This new carpet would help them stay focused.
