I would like to create my classroom library with books on diversity. I would like for my students to be aware of the culture that they come from. With everything that is going on in the world today, it is important for them to learn the history of their culture. Each book or set that was placed in the cart, will be handled with love and care and was chosen with my students' interests in mind. My students love to learn about things (i.e. historical events, facts, etc.) that they have never been aware of and I think that they will love these books! I want my students to have a love for reading and I feel that with these books, it will be a great start!
