Having access to snacks is essential for students to learn and feel secure in the classroom. I never want my students to worry about not having access to food, so I always make sure I have snacks available for every student.
Students cannot learn when they are worried about when they will eat. I believe that with the proper fuel and security my students can shatter the limits set for them based on where they live and the poverty they come from. I believe they can achieve greatness and begin to function out of a place of security instead of scarcity.
