Students will be able to purchase items from our class store each week by practicing and apply money skills. Each item will be given a dollar and cent amount. Students will need to choose their items, add the amounts, count the money they have earned doing job skills around campus, and apply that money towards their desired items.
So many students can identify coins and dollars, but cannot add them together and make a change while making purchases. By creating a class store and having students make purchases of items they would like to have, this will allow them to feel empowered in their learning.
