My students are learning basic daily living skills as well as vocational skills. I teach students who have Intellectually disabilities the transitional skills they will need for independent living. We provide a service within our school that includes delivering items to other classes. We also have implemented a recycling pick-up service and the carts will allow the students to do this.
My students are eager to learn and these items will make it easier and allow them to have a better learning experience.
The students get a sense of fulfillment when helping others and that they belong to the school that they spend so many years attending.
