This project is designed to supplement our classroom library with updated and interesting books to encourage my students love of reading and access to different literature. It makes a big difference when a student enjoys reading, not only in how much they read, but also their focus and attitude towards other areas of school, friends, and life.
Students who read twenty minutes a day tend to perform in the 90% percentile on assessments, read almost 1,800,000 words a year, and develop their creativity and understanding. Reading encourages well-rounded children who look at the world with delight. Help them find that!
