With thees items, I would be able to work with my students on more hands-on learning. When you think about speech therapy, a lot of the tasks are talking. For young students, this is boring. I strive to make my classroom enjoyable, due to the fact the more you enjoy your work the more you can learn. A student learns with their eyes, ears, and hands. Having a sensory pleasing room will help my students grow and become successful in the regular education classroom. With the games, they will be practicing turn-taking, sharing, communication skills, and body control. With flexible seating, they can wiggle and groove while sitting at their desks. The AlphaMags will allow them to work at the magnetic board to spell words, work on sounds, and leave messages.
