Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Right now students have some flexible seating choices in the classroom, but I would love to be able to give them more options for seating, which will help them to explore more options that help them to learn best! I would like stools, balance ball chairs, coat hooks, and a table. Allowing my students to have a say in where they sit and what type of seat they sit at is necessary for making sure that the students feel comfortable and more engaged in their learning. It has been my experience that a student who is comfortable and has options in the classroom, is a student who is happy to be there with a positive mindset each and every day.

About my class
