I love to incorporate literacy into my art activities. As an art teacher, I like to begin my art lessons with a read-aloud related to the season, holiday, or even connected to the classroom theme. As an art teacher for a school of almost 300 students, art supplies go quickly! I love what I do, but having to provide supplies for that many lessons and 300 students can be costly! Having these supplies will allow my students to paint with tempera paint or watercolor paints, use cotton balls or pom-poms to create animals, paintbrushes to create puffy paint to make snowmen and penguins, and so much more! Baby wipes will allow up to clean up our messes and ensure our space is clean and ready for the next activity.
