Many of my students sit on hard seats all day. Allowing students to sit on exercise balls would allow students to sit on something that allows them to move a little bit and not be distracting. My students who need to move can focus on their work instead of moving all over the classroom.
Allowing students to have a choice can lead to healthy choices later in life. Students cannot be expected to make good choices if adults do give them the opportunity to make choices. Help them learn how to make good choices. Students can sit on these balls to have an alternative to chairs in the classroom.
