In my third grade classroom, we are required to use the online program IReady and MYon, but we do not have enough headphones for every student. These programs are used for subject areas, including literacy and math. Allowing each student to have a pair of headphones would incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. It will also help the other students in the room that are not using technology at the time to be able to concentrate on the task that they are working on. If each student has a set of headphones, it would allow me to set up numerous lessons and learning centers to meet each of their learning needs. The possibilities would be endless if each student had a set of headphones.
