My 12/13 year old students are sitting in desks all day long. Though this project they will be able to sit around the room and stretch out their bodies while stretching their minds. I want my students to come to class and want to work because they are not restricted to the usual desks they have been using for years. I want my students to feel comfortable and relaxed while they work. As I was talking to my students about this and an idea of what type of flexible seats they would want, they were all very excited and helped me with the research to find what would meet their needs such a "The Surf".
