The materials I am requesting will make transitioning to kindergarten easier by promoting fine motor, literacy, math, and social skills with developmentally appropriate activities. These Sensory Bins will provide plenty of activities to use in school to help children learn to count, write, and problem-solve among other skills. They will help my students learn to be cooperative. They will help my children make sense of challenging concepts. Rather than watching or listening to a lesson, students who engage with these kits in physical ways develop deeper understandings of math concepts. They will help them explain the relationship between numbers and quantities.
Describe measurable attributes and classify objects.
Identify, compare, and finally compose shapes. The manipulative kits I am requesting will help meet those goals while giving children the opportunity to improve their coordination, learn about counting and sorting, and expand their problem-solving skills. These hands-on learning opportunities will help children in their everyday lives and will prepare them to learn more advanced mathematical concepts in their future education.
