Please help my students with access to their own personal sketchbooks!
Students in my 4th and 5th grade visual art classes will be learning about the planning process for art projects, including pre-sketching and brainstorming ideas. They can also use the sketchbooks to take notes, or sketch ideas sparked from lessons on contemporary art history.
Sketchbooks will not only give my students a place to sketch and work out their ideas, but will give them extra literary help when brainstorming ideas, answering questions about art pieces and concepts, and journaling about the process of making art; students will finally have their own place to reflect.
