The project consists of wobble chairs, balance balls and cushions. The wobble chairs will help children with ADHD or other sensory needs sit and do their work at the tables. The floor seats will be used at the listening center so students can comfortably sit at the floor in a small group while reading and listening to a recording of a book. The wobble cushions will help students who have trouble sitting still at the carpet during whole groups lessons and reading. This will help me make accommodations in my classroom for students with IEPs and 504 plans. Another goal is to create an engaging classroom kindergarten environment that meets the needs of all children.
