I truly believe that a classroom should be an inviting place. Bare walls are not something we should have in any classroom. I want to make my classroom a place where students are invited to engage in the course work by posting current events, inspirational quotes, pictures of places in the world, hanging works of students, posters, maps, and seasonal décor.
Students learn both actively and passively and surrounding them with positive messages that promote equity in the classroom, maps of areas of the world they are studying, and color printouts of their work will both motivate and engage them in their coursework.
About my class
