Our students have to have a brain break and get all of their energy out at some point during the day, but how can they have fun at recess if they aren't allowed to use the playground equipment or play closely with one another? Our school gave our families the idea of buying their student recess bags that are filled with soccer balls, jump ropes, chalk, and bean bags, so that they could have something to play with while outside at recess. Unfortunately, very few of my families purchased a bag.
Many of my students are still bored at recess because they have nothing to do and are not able to share with the other students. I would love for each of my students to have something to do outside so they can get their energy out. They all deserve to have fun!
