It will allow each student to have their own interactive notebook. We will be able to start right away and not have to wait on students to get one on their own. Students use these daily to complete written assignments, daily journals and exit tickets. These notebooks are used to enhance student writing and to get them use to writing everyday. Everyday students start with a "Do Now", which is an introductory writing assignment about a topic that I put on the board. Students will write about the topic and explain their answers using complete sentences and correct grammar. They will also use these to answer "Exit Tickets" which is a question about the days lesson that students will answer before they leave. These notebooks are left in the class room so that they are available to the students each day.
