The Osmo Learning System will be used during Literacy, Math, and Pre-vocational centers on a daily basis in my classroom. The Osmo Learning System will be used with our two current class iPads, in addition to one new, to allow students to manipulate tangrams, letters, and more with a partner in an innovative and exciting way. This technology will help improve: (1) Number sense and math confidence, (2) Spatial sense and visual acuity, (3) Reading and vocabulary, (4) Creativity and problem solving, (5) Hand-eye coordination and self expression. My special education students need access to programs and materials that will motivate, engage and inspire them. Osmo is an amazing program that will encourage my students to work independently and help them thrive in an academic setting.
