Through Natalie Babbitt's novel, Tuck Everlasting, I plan to create projects and activities designed to engage my students imagination and creativity.
Natalie Babbitt creates a story that engages the reader and causes them to think about some of life's big questions. Currently, I teach literary elements through short stories. We do not have a class set of novels to be able to dive deeper into these elements.
I am excited about the different writing activities that can go along with this book. The figurative language in Tuck Everlasting is beautiful and I hope to share it with my sixth graders!
