We are working to expand the voices and stories that we explore in theatre. Tarell Alvin McCraney's play draws on Afro-Caribbean traditions to tell this coming of age story. This script will be used in our upper level classrooms for scene work and script analysis. We are working to find stories that reflect and celebrate the rich diversity in our student body. As we expand our library of new plays we are able to get new voices into the rotation of plays that are studied along with the classics like Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde.

About my class
