My students will love the ability to work with their hands to create one of a kind masterpieces. They will be able to experiment with creating different types of vessels from cups and bowls, to vases, plates and cookie jars! They will also get to experiment with different types of clay and even dig up their own from our clay rich, Vermont, earth.
Having a pottery wheel will broaden the skill base that my students are developing in art classes during their journey through middle and high school in a fun and memorable way. I hope to give my students the ability to enjoy and create pottery for a lifetime.
