This project will help enrich my students' experiences with printed word. These new books will help update and expand my classroom library. I have chosen these books with my students' interests in mind. I compiled the list of titles based on the requests of my students and on series I know they enjoy. My students will be able to choose books from a variety of topics during independent reading time. Having books they are interested in will help students foster their love of reading and help ensure they become life long readers.

About my class
