The tablets, speakers and power strips will allow me to have technology readily available for student use to complete assessments, assignments, projects and daily progress monitoring. Having lessons that are interactive and visual helps my special needs students to not only retain information it helps to make connections to learning more meaningful. Additionally, having audio speakers allow students to hear the information clearly and precisely.
Having technology in the classroom helps students to maximize potential. Having a clean, positive atmosphere fosters a conducive learning environment for students. Students will be able to access the DCPS Clever website which houses applications specific to their academic track and levels.
