Our district and grade level recognizes the importance of making sure that learning is individualized for each one of our students. Every single student we work with has diverse needs. These materials allow students the ability to move around the classroom, work independently, or work as a community of learners. The book boxes and pouches allow students to travel easily from classroom to classroom to reach their own individualized lessons. The easel allows students to become the teacher and show their work as well as provide a unique center to explore their new concepts. Student engagement and choice go hand in hand and these materials will allow them the freedom and flexibility to take control of their learning. By donating to this project, you are providing these first graders the opportunity to learn at their own pace while not having to worry about losing their materials or struggling to go from classroom to classroom unprepared. Personalized learning is the goal this year in our grade level and we truly cannot do this without your support. Thank You!
