My job as an Early Childhood Instructor is to help my high school students learn the importance of developing and implementing lessons for preschool children that will enhance their learning in a developmentally appropriate way.
Part of our goal is to provide our preschool children with a natural environment with props and materials which will help them to develop their social-emotional and language skills through dramatic play.
The children will have so much fun using the walk-in playset, playhouse, accessories and picnic table which will give them the opportunities to freely express themselves in a way that creates meaningful interactions. At the same time, my high school students, who are Early Childhood teachers in training, will get to observe and learn how to best support children in this environment.
