A classroom rug will help give my students a richer learning environment. This rug has different divided spots for each child in my room. We have morning meetings where students come to the carpet and share their highs and lows, and events happening in their lives and the world around us. We also come to the carpet to do interactive learning, meet in small groups, read with book buddies, and offer flexible seating. When my kiddos come to the carpet it can be unorganized and sometimes it's hard for 2nd graders to make space for their friends. This rug has a divided space for 30 students so everyone will have their own space to sit!! Help me help my students with their social emotional growth by giving them a place to share their thoughts, ideas, worries, and stories.
