I will be teaching my students how to plan and conduct a research project based around the American Revolution. I plan to have students work in research teams to choose a subtopic of the American Revolution and research it. They will work together as a group to teach their subtopic to the rest of the class. By donating to our project, you will not only help students learn how to perform research, but you will also assist in engaging them in topics of their country that they are excited to learn about! Students will use the books purchased to learn research strategies such as note-taking, identifying text structures, and summarizing information about the American Revolution. We do not currently have the books needed to research the American Revolution, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
