Students will work in teams to research online strategies. Once the students obtain the necessary information, they will program the robot(s) to perform classroom competitions. The project will require a great deal of math and thinking skills. Students will use determine how rate (distance, speed, and time) affects performance. I will collaborate with the STEM teacher to teach students the basic math skills. Then students will use trial and error to determine which adjustments would be necessary to increase efficiency. Students will work in teams to collaborate and evaluate their project. Their information will be shared with other students in the building.
