Many of us take for granted the ability to use a calculator. My students not only struggle with math but also how to use calculators specifically scientific calculators.
All of my students receive accommodations for the use of a calculator in their classes due to their disability. The scientific calculators that we are asking for are so smart that they even know PEMDAS! This alone helps my students not struggle with the order of operations. These calculators will allow me to teach my students how using assistive technology will help them in many areas of their life.
