I would like to create a corner in my classroom for my students to be able to comfortably calm down. The orange chairs will be a great addition to allow my students a new way to sit and calm down, so they do not feel like they're in their desk.
Having materials for the children to fiddle with will help my students grow academically and socially. By using the sensory bead dough my students will have a way to express their feelings without using their hands or words. The op and Play color pusher, which is meant for toddlers, will be a great addition to the special ed classroom that I teach.
