This is my first year teaching and unfortunately, my classroom was not supplied with items to put in my classroom sensory area. School and school work can be extremely overwhelming and frustrating for my students. With the use of these items, my students will be able to have sensory items to help them calm down and stay focused when they are overwhelmed and on the verge of a meltdown.
My students LOVE hands-on activities and movement so the use of these items will give the students the ability to focus and stay engaged in the tasks they are given in the classroom.
Our classroom is in desperate need of flexible seating. My students love to move around the room and with these additional seats, my students will be able to move and still stay focused on their schoolwork.
We all know school can be difficult for students without a disability so, in order to help these students succeed, I need additional resources like the ones listed. The use of these fidgets and seating options will give my students the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them.
We would really love if you could help assist our classroom in receiving these items to help my students reach their full potential in their learning environment!
