Get students off the screen of their phones, computers and video games and get them interacting with the natural world around them at McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Students will get to go river rafting, star gazing, and 10 hours of educational programing that will give them hands-on experience in earth and life sciences. Students will also get to build community by eating meals together and sleeping in dormitory style housing/beds. Although students may not be "roughing it," they will have plenty of opportunities to interact with nature. We are looking to cover the cost of the registration fees for all our 107 students and teachers. Help us make this happen.
