There are many math apps available that my students do not have access to. Many of my students don't have computer access at home and those that do don't have Internet. Therefore, when they have access to any type of technology, they get super excited.
I am a fifth grade math teacher in a middle school located in the southwest side of the City of Chicago. The student body is approximately 96% percent Hispanic and about 98% percent are classified as low income students. Some of my students have individual education plans and some are English Language Learners.
