This Microphone will help make a difference in my student's learning by increasing participation and making them feel heard. I have several students in my classroom who are very soft-spoken and no matter how excited I get about a topic or even doing the dreaded random selection, I hear from the same 4 students or the students talk so quietly it is difficult to understand and have them feel like their voice matters- which is upsetting because they have wonderful ideas that I am dying to hear!
This Microphone will not only help my students feel heard- but it will also increase the movement in my room because this particular microphone is made to be tossed, thrown, and rolled. This microphone was made to withstand the rigor of a 5th-grade classroom. This will make my students want to participate because how often are you given permission to toss a big ball in class? Especially when all you have to do it talk!
This Microphone will not only help this year's students but in the following years as well. This would be a wonderful addition to my classroom and getting students passionate about learning all over again.
