The first set of books within the collection includes informational texts about children from all around the world, providing our class with insights necessary to develop a more wholesome understanding of the world around them.
Because no one should be limited by their social-economic restrictions, to learn what the world is like beyond their immediate surroundings. Another set of books addresses the careers of different members of our community, which would be a great tool to help inform our little kinders on what each career choice really entails. To me as a teacher, it is so important to make sure that kids grow up making well-educated decisions, especially when it comes to jobs. Additionally, there is another set of books that addresses different types of handicaps, teaching our young minds what these might mean to the individual; essentially helping the children empathize with everyone and be better citizens of the world.
